About Dr. Javier Martinez
Dr. Martinez began his dental education in León, Nicaragua. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua, León, in 1996, graduating at the top of his class.
He later moved to Minneapolis to complete the three-year prosthodontic residency program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. The program culminated in a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Martinez has practiced in the Orlando area since 2004. Through continuing education and advanced clinical training, he remains current with developments in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, digital technology, and complex oral rehabilitation.

Academic and Clinical Teaching Experience
During his prosthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Martinez served as a preclinical and assistant clinical instructor in fixed and removable prosthodontics.
After completing his specialty training, he moved to South Florida and served as an assistant clinical professor in the restorative dentistry department and postgraduate training program at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He also maintained a private clinical practice.
After relocating to Central Florida in 2001, Dr. Martinez served as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

Dr. Martinez has received repeated peer recognition from Orlando Magazine in its annual “Top Dentists” program. In 2025, the publication featured him in its Dental Hall of Fame after 15 consecutive years of recognition by fellow dental professionals.
