Position: Experienced Dental Assistant (Certified either CBA, EFDA, RDA)

Location: Ocoee, Fl., 15 minutes west of Downtown Orlando

We are seeking a Full Time Caring Dental Assistant that would love to be a part of a team that believes in a positive company culture that embraces teamwork and high levels of trust among team members. We are a privately owned specialty practice that demands high quality customer service.  We pride ourselves on extensively educating our patients and consistently delivering quality dental care.  

We are open Monday through Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm

Some Fridays required but NO WEEKEND HOURS!  

Full time is 32-38 hours. 
Salary DOE and includes full benefits.

  • CDA and Radiology licensed / EDFA preferred 


  • Work with the direct supervisor of the Prosthodontist.
  • Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist’s use.
  • Handing instruments and other materials to dentist during procedures. 
  • Make temporary crowns.
  • Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
  • Taking impressions of patient’s teeth for casts.
  • Pouring impressions (including boxing and pouring), trimming casts (models), and maintaining the laboratory clean and organized.
  • Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient 
  • Must be able to take excellent notes and enter them into our paperless dental software. 
  • Questioning patients about their medical history, obtaining dental records and recording information for dentist’s reference.
  • Advising patients on dental care. 
  • Making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment. 
  • Taking x-rays of patient’s teeth. (full mouth series, panoramic and CBCT scans)
  • Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory. 
  • Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment. 

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:  

  1. HIPAA compliance – responsible for maintaining abreast of and in compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements. Treats all member information confidential. 
  2. Compliance – Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. 
  3. Participate in activities and contribute towards the overall performance improvement of the practice. 
  4. High school graduate (or GED). 
  5. Proof of completing radiation safety course. 
  6. Four years experience as a dental assistant minimum.
  7. Have the ability to communicate fluently in English. 
  8. Possess X-Ray License or will secure one within the first ninety (90) days of employment this will allow for advancement from training position. 
  9. Maintain certification in basic life support or will secure certification within thirty (30) days of employment.
